Hi.
My last (well, second last...) post was about the impending exams; at that time my Year 2 End-Of-Year exams. It's that time of the year again. My Year 3 Mid-Year Exams are day after tomorrow (Friday)... My first paper is Language Arts. I'm studying for Physics now.
In terms of Percentage Revised:
Language Arts : 0% (You can't really REVISE for it anyway.)
Physics: 75% (I need to re-do Light and Kinematics cos I don't really understand it.)
Chemistry: 95% (Last vestiges of Metallic Bonding need to be cleared up.)
Add. Maths: 85% (Need to clarify some stuff on Linear Law and Remainder/Factor Theorem.)
Core Maths: 95% (Thanks [OMG!] to Chua Chia Pei. She can actually teach.)
History: 60% (Oh dear.... But atleast Mr. Neo gave us a hint- ENLIGHTENMENT. Study it. Devour it. Worship it.)
IHS: !#$@$%! (I can't put a percentage because I am actually not sure. I think I know my stuff, but Humanities is one of the subjects where you can't really be sure. Like Bio.)
I need to do well for these exams, coz my entrance to A CERTAIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL will depend on it.
Anyway. In the INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, I'll be taking photography, so Papa is getting me a DSLR of my choice. I chose the Nikon D90, and will (probably) be getting it after the exams. I moved house, but I still stay at Horizon Towers, and now have my own room! I want to buy a speaker, probably the Logitech Z523 ($150, not TOO ex... I hope), to hook up to my iPod to play tunes. Still haven't given up on the guitar, although I'm now looking at a much cheaper alternative to the Gibson SG- probably sth by Ibanez.
On the note made in the previous blog posts-
* I can play Guitar Hero on Extreme and not screw up. Not badly, anyway.
* I got the iPod 16GB... filled up 10GB with songs already.
Yeah so I wasn't able to post here for a while due to time-management reasons. But don't worry I'll be posting here a lot more often now. Hopefully :)
OMG OMG OMG.... Exams in 1 week... I don't mug, I revise... mugging makes you forget stuff, revising calmly is better, IMO.
These are some albums which I really want to buy (and probably will, considering I got nothing for my birthday from my parents. The guitar "depends on my exam results" so it's not a birthday present, is it? You get presents regardless of how well you do in exams... The guitar , possibly a 2009 Fender Stratocaster, is more like a "Oh, you did well in your exams so we're giving you this", not a "You get this anyway cos it's your birthday". A reward, not a present)

I have a Starhub connection, and am "optimizing" it... to watch F1. Coz it's a total shit waste of money to actually go there and watch the race (like Atulya and Taran... Taran said he wasn't going... but he is coz I saw him going. $1400+ blow-off...)
Atulya got tickets to the Pit Grandstand~ like... what will he see? Felipe Massa won't be ripping out his fuel pipe again... He'll be looking at the pits for a few hours to come :D loser...
The Singapore Grand Prix is useless.... no overtaking coz the track is too narrow.... once someone gets a small lead he'll keep it for the rest of the race.
I can hear the race from here :D It's at Marina Bay... I'm at Orchard... Not close, but close enough.

YAY MY BIRTHDAY WAS YESTERDAY!!! I AM 14 YEARS OLD NOW!
My dad decided to get me Guitar Hero 4- World Tour for my birthday- $299!!!
and he said I could get Halo 3- ODST and Guitar Hero 5 (both around $80) after my exams!!! I really want GH 5... coz it has AWESOME songs- like "Plug In Baby" by Muse and "In My Place" by Coldplay... BUT you can download "Mr. Brightside" and "Human" by The Killers (it's either Human or Spaceman) and a lot of Oasis songs (Some Might Say / I'm Outta Time / Falling Down)... but you have to buy the songs on the online GH shop.
But I suck at GH... I've been playing it on Beginner coz my timing sucks... I CAN'T EVEN GET OPEN NOTES ON THE STRIKE-BAR PROPERLY!!! I'M ALWAYS EITHER EARLY OR LATE!!
